Foods with natural laxative effect

Nature, with kindness and generosity, put in humankind all kinds of cures for the pain; just you know and trust that they will be helpful for you. In case of constipation, we can lean on one of these methods that have guaranteed effect, does not have addictive and does not affect other organs.

• Buckthorn is one of the most used plants from us in constipation. Boil a quart of water and, when boils, add one teaspoon of herb mixture and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Stop the heat and cover the dish for ten minutes then strain the decoction. Drink this tea in evening hot, unsweetened or sweetened with one or two teaspoons of honey. For laxative tea never use sugar, which greatly reduces the effect of plants.

Giving up fast food snacks and cooking of soups and stews rich in vegetables is the best idea, and adopt the habit of eating every day one salad. Fruits and vegetables have more fiber.

Foods that prevent bloating

— Probiotic yogurt aids digestion. It is true that «good» bacteria (lactobacillus, acidophilus and bifidus) help proper functioning of the system. The matter is to find which are the most active yogurt cultures, because many of them lose this essential compound when are processed. Avoid those that contain too much fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners.

— Calcium is a very effective remedy against bloating due to menstruation. — Water — is essential to maintain hydrated because water reduces the amount of sodium and thus eliminate the cause of bloating. Dieticians recommend consumption of 6-8 glasses of water a day. We must not let the feeling of thirst to go unnoticed. Proper hydration helps with digestion.

— Fiber helps a lot to digest and, implicitly, against bloating caused by constipation, but it is important that they be eaten wisely. If we consume too much fiber without fluids will appear constipation. Gradually increase of fiber and water will help for an optimal transit in the body.
